A long-time member of Aspen Skiing Company’s leadership team, John now oversees Partnerships, Events, and other strategic initiatives on behalf of Aspen One.

John started on the front lines at Aspen Highlands in 1989, holding management roles with various teams throughout the years, including Ticketing, Events, Strategic Alliances, Global Sales, Brand, and several years overseeing all mountain division revenue centers including Mountain Dining, the Ski & Snowboard Schools, Rental and Retail.

John’s teams have played a critical role in bringing major athletic and lifestyle events to town, generating trial, creating vitality, driving occupancy, and leveraging global TV coverage of our resort to establish credibility with the next generation of skiers and riders.  His group prides itself on enhancing the guest experience, celebrating athletic achievement, building community, and collaborating across the entire resort.

An active community servant, John has served on the Board of Directors for several valley non-profits including The Buddy Program, AVSC, Aspen Junior Hockey, Environment Foundation, Snowmass Discovery and ACRA.  He spent 15 years coaching youth sports and volunteering for local leagues and Aspen High athletics.

John graduated from Bucknell University.  He and his wife Anna have raised three incredible boys – Liam, Matthew, and Ryan – who greatly appreciate the opportunity to live, learn, and recreate in this amazing valley.
