Housing Information
Housing is never far from our minds. Twenty years ago, we had 72 beds for employees. Since then, ownership has invested over $100 million dollars in housing. Today, we offer over 1,300 beds. Aspen One is focused on developing significantly more housing opportunities in the next few years.
Employees Seeking Housing
Employee housing is located throughout the Roaring Fork Valley and offers mostly seasonal and some year-round, long-term housing options. All housing is located near a RFTA bus line. Seasonal housing is generally allocated to departments to disperse to their employees. Long-term housing is via an application process. The housing department does not allocate winter seasonal employee housing. Contact your Talent Acquisition partner or your hiring manager to ask about winter housing distribution to employees.
Questions? For questions on whether your position comes with a housing allocation, please contact your Talent Acquisitions partner or email [email protected].
The Allocation Process
In the winter season, apartments are designated for full-time Aspen One employees ONLY. There is no application process as housing is obtained through your Aspen Skiing Company or Hospitality division head or through Talent Acquisition. Housing is awarded based on an internal allocation system whereby Aspen One department heads determine the recipients of the limited number of beds allocated to each division of the company. Please contact your hiring manager, division head, Talent Acquisition to see if they have reserved a bed for you for the winter season. The allocation of beds for the winter season begins in August so be sure to reach out early to discuss winter housing.
We also encourage individuals seeking work at Aspen One to research their own housing options on the private market or via the Tenants for Turns program. The Tenants for Turns program is an excellent way to find unique housing opportunities throughout the Roaring Fork Valley.
Winter Seasonal Housing
In the winter season, Roaring Fork Valley apartments are designated for full time employees ONLY. There is no application process, as housing is not obtained through the housing department. Housing is obtained through your department head or talent acquisition contact. Parking for all seasonal housing is HIGHLY LIMITED and several properties require an extra fee to park your car. We also have limited or no parking at several of our job sites. All Aspen One housing is located on RFTA routes, our exceptional valley-wide bus system. There is also a valley-wide bike share service. Aspen One also provides reduced bus passes. We strongly encourage those renting seasonal housing to not bring a car.
Summer Seasonal Housing
In the summer season, employment requirements for summer seasonal housing may be more flexible, though first priority will be given to Aspen One employees working year-round and second priority to those working for Aspen One for at least the winter or summer season. If you are interested in summer seasonal leasing opportunities, contact the housing office. Residents who were housed for the summer term do not receive any type of priority or preference for winter housing.
Long-term Housing
Long-term and Long-term Conditional Housing requires a 12-month lease term and full-time year-round or dual seasonal work with Aspen One. Long-term housing opportunities require an application process. Contact our housing offices for current openings and for an application.

Tenants for Turns (T4T) incentivizes homeowners in the Roaring Fork Valley who are willing to rent a unit, ADU, guesthouse, mother-in-law unit, or even an extra bedroom to an Aspen One employee. This innovative program helps address the ongoing housing shortage while connecting the community to the slopes of Aspen Snowmass. This housing provides unique opportunities to live with locals or by yourself, find a unique property (quaint log cabin, anyone?!), or live in the community of your choice (have you seen Redstone?!). T4T provides the landlord listings and then employees assume the responsibility to vet the property and find the living situation that works best for them. Visit this page for all the details.
Aspen One provides this Roommate resource as a courtesy to help employees connect and find each other for housing purposes.
