Summer in Aspen Snowmass to Kick Off May 24
Another beautiful summer season to begin in just a few weeks, stacked with exciting events, activities, and improvements to Snowmass Bike Park
ASPEN, Colo. – April 29, 2025 – Summer at Aspen Snowmass is always highly anticipated, and the season will return with exciting events and activities from May through early October. Whether guests are visiting for the wide array of family events, live music, sightseeing, ziplining, mountain biking, or more, they will experience the beauty and adventure the warmer months have to offer in Aspen.
Half Price, Twice the Stories — Snowmass Bike Park Season Passes Are $200.
Opening on June 21, Snowmass Bike Park (SBP) features 25 miles of diverse trails, ranging from beginner-friendly singletrack to adrenaline-pumping downhill, with nearly 3,000 vertical feet of descent from the Elk Camp Chairlift to Snowmass Base Village. Enjoy lift-accessed riding, expert coaching, and time outdoors with friends and family.
With new guest experience projects underway, Snowmass won’t just see improvements benefiting visitors in the winter. Once complete, the upgrade of the Elk Camp lift will efficiently upload more bikes to SBP in the summer months. This represents a major investment in SBP’s operations, nearly doubling the capacity of bike haul. This upgrade will also trigger overall improvements to SBP for next summer, including improved trail maintenance and new trails and features.
On August 4, the lift will close for the summer to ensure completion of the upgrade prior to the next ski season. While the upper trails of SBP will no longer be lift served at that point, the lower half of the park will remain accessible. With this in mind, SBP season passes are available for $200 (nearly 50% off), and winter season pass holders can purchase a SBP pass this year for $100. This pricing reflects the opportunity for more Aspen Snowmass guests to experience the thrill of the park, while acknowledging the impact of the construction. This opportunity to experience the full park and all its terrain for more than half the season at almost half the price is unprecedented and a true opportunity for mountain bikers of all levels and abilities to experience what makes SBP, and the sport, so special.
SBP passes come with six friends & family benefit vouchers, each valid for 50% off a single SBP ticket. The Child 12 & under SBP season pass rate is $160, and $80 for winter season pass holders. Adult single-day and three-day tickets are available for $64 and $154, respectively; Child 12 & under single day rate is $51 and the 3-day rate is $123. Bike tuning services are also available at the Aspen and Snowmass Base Village Four Mountain Sports locations this summer.
Learn from the industry’s best bike pros with lessons, clinics and camps available to riders of all abilities. New this year is the Trail Academy, a 4-week camp designed to help intermediate to advanced riders ages 8-12 develop their skills on the SBP trail network – registration is open now.
