Housing Information
Housing is never far from our minds. Twenty years ago, we had 72 beds for employees. Since then, ownership has invested over $100 million dollars in housing. Today, we offer over 1,000 beds, which equates to housing for about 20% of our employees. We are continually seeking new opportunities and partnerships, but employees coming to Aspen should expect that they may have to seek out housing on their own.
Employees Seeking Housing
Employee housing is located throughout the Roaring Fork Valley and offers mostly seasonal and some year-round housing. All housing is located near a RFTA bus line. Housing is generally allocated to departments to disperse to their employees. The housing department does not allocate employee housing. Contact your Talent Acquisition partner or your manager to ask about housing distribution to employees.
Questions? For questions on whether your position comes with a housing allocation, please contact your Talent Acquisitions partner or email [email protected].
The Allocation Process
Employee housing is located throughout the Roaring Fork Valley and offers mostly seasonal and some year-round housing. Housing is typically allocated through an internal system. Employee housing in the Roaring Fork Valley is awarded based on an internal allocation system. Department heads determine how the limited number of beds are allocated to employees. Apartments are assigned to department managers with the goal of providing beds that are in close proximity to their employee’s job locations. However, it’s not unusual for employees who work in Aspen to be assigned housing in Snowmass Village at the Club Commons apartments. Snowmass Village is a short commute to Aspen and has the most housing. Please contact your Talent Acquisition hiring manager or your department head to see if a bed has been reserved for you. Housing is generally allocated on a first come first serve basis and is not guaranteed. We encourage individuals seeking work at Aspen One to find their own housing on the private market.
Winter Housing
In the winter season, Roaring Fork Valley apartments are designated for full time employees ONLY. There is no application process, as housing is not obtained through the housing department. Housing is obtained through your department head or human resources contact.
Summer Housing
In the summer season, apartments are designated for full-time Roaring Fork Valley employees ONLY. There is no application process, as housing is not obtained through the housing department. Housing is obtained through your department head or human resources contact. Employees leasing for the summer are not permitted to extend leases into the winter season without a formal written assignment from a division director. Residents who were housed for the summer term do not receive any type of priority or preference for winter housing.
