Big Snow for a Big Week: Check Out the Aspen/Snowmass Ski & Snowboard Open, Presented By Skullcandy

Keystone,CO Aspen/Snowmass has been putting up big numbers on the board for snowfall this week. The recent storm cycle hit Aspen hard with upwards of 16 inches of fresh powder. Best news of all, it’s still snowing! Base depths are way above average, and are totaling 1-2 feet over last year’s numbers at this time.

ASPEN, CO - The wait is over! Winter X Games is finally here, and I have the last minute, inside scoop on some exciting new developments. As Buttermilk's a buzz with competition action, check out Aspen Mountain for the chance to come face to face with your favorite X Games athletes. Winter X Games 2011 Update: Big Boi to Perform in Aspen, Co at Bud Light Hi-Fi Concert

Keystone, CO- The Winter X Games is one of the most exciting events to come to Aspen all year long. The town is bustling with the influx of visitors, here to cheer on their favorite winter sports athletes. But the X Games excitement isn’t limited to the sporting event. The town is chock-full of exciting after parties and this year, a Bud Light Hi-Fi Concert headlined by Big Boi on January 29th at 5:30 p.m.

What’s New This New Year in Aspen/Snowmass

Keystone, CO - For many, the new year signifies change and progress. Holding on to the tried and true from previous years and improving on lessons learned over the past 365 days. So what’s new for Aspen/Snowmass this New Year? Well, to put it simply, A LOT! Aspen has dedicated $138 million dollars to improving the guests’ on-mountain experience over the last seven years. During that period, Aspen has added nine new lifts, two state of the art gondolas, a 12-foot halfpipe, new dining and shopping experiences and the fantasy filled Tree House Kids’ Adventure Center. Here’s the scoop on a few upgrades for the 2010-2011 season at Aspen/Snowmass.
